Given that there a cycles in economies, from boom to bust, the Chief Executive of the Institute of Hospitality, Peter Ducker FIH, considers the current economic landscape and examines how hospitality businesses are faring post-recession.

Historically, upturns in the economic cycle have lasted between seven and 15 years from the bottom of the downturn. Where are we in the cycle? Who’s buying hospitality properties and where are Europe’s ‘hot spots’.
