Make sure your business’s summer events go without a hitch – read Pitmans’ new article

The high season will soon be upon us and if your UK hospitality business hosts events, then you’ll want to read Pitmans LLP’s excellent article about the more complex side of organising events. Pitmans’ specialist team of legal advisors focus on the hospitality industry and Pitmans supports the Institute of Hospitality – a registered charity – as a Business Partner.

As Pitmans notes, “The planning, production and running of these events always proves to be complex, and it is important to ensure that all the relevant regulations and legislation have been complied with. However, striking the right balance between merriment and regulatory humbug can prove tricky”.

So whether you are hosting a road race for charity, the village fête or a music festival, this new article will highlight important information that must be taken into consideration prior to planning an event.

Coverage includes important topics such as:

  • onsite safety
  • duty of care for the public and staff
  • types of insurance including public liability and cancellation
  • licenses for alcohol and music and more!
